Licensing
What your license covers — by use case
The standard license is per installation and for your own internal use. Putting the data in front of third parties — resale, white-label, multi-tenant SaaS — needs an explicit agreement. Here is exactly where each use case lands, so nothing is a surprise later.

Internal use is fully covered by Standard and Premium. Anything that exposes the data to third parties is a custom agreement — never a silent restriction.

Common questions about plans and licensing
How is BD-API licensed?+
Per installation. Each cosmetic software vendor or Responsible Person organisation receives one license key per installed environment (production, staging, test). Pricing is volume-based for vendors managing many installations.
What is the difference between Standard and Premium?+
Standard delivers CosIng patches plus raw SCCS / DG SANTE alerts. Premium adds the full multi-source watch (Safety Gate, EUR-Lex), AI enrichment per source, granular subscription per source, HTML email and priority support.
Can I try BD-API before committing?+
Yes. We issue an evaluation license key manually so you can incorporate BD-API into your development. It authenticates against the production environment — same code paths, same signing logic, same retry policy — so what you build against it is what runs in production. There is no automatic expiration: the key stays active until our team deactivates it, and when you are ready to go live we issue your production key through the same channel.
