Sobre el Anexo VI
El Anexo VI del Reglamento (CE) 1223/2009 contiene la lista de filtros ultravioleta autorizados para uso en productos cosméticos en la Unión Europea. Los filtros UV son sustancias añadidas especialmente para proteger la piel y el cabello de los efectos nocivos de la radiación UV, ya sea mediante absorción, reflexión o dispersión. Solo los filtros incluidos en este anexo pueden usarse con esa finalidad; su uso en otras categorías cosméticas sin función de protección solar puede estar sujeto a regulaciones adicionales. Cada entrada define la concentración máxima permitida y, en algunos casos, las categorías de producto o las restricciones de uso específicas. El SCCS evalúa la seguridad de cada filtro UV antes de su inclusión o modificación en el anexo. BD-API monitoriza los cambios al Anexo VI y notifica a las Personas Responsables mediante alertas automáticas, garantizando la conformidad continua de los protectores solares y otros productos con componentes de protección UV.
